Who We Are
our bespoke curriculum
Four key elements set us apart: our dedicated team, thoughtfully curated activities, nurturing environment, and nutritious plant-based meals.
what sets us apart
People
Our passionate team is at the heart of MEplace, with the majority of our teachers holding education and psychology (or related) degrees. All team members receive specialised training to develop their skills and introduce them to our unique ethos, and everyone’s experience and qualities are valued. We look for each person's ‘superpowers’!
Activities & Curriculum
We take a holistic approach to early education, ensuring a personalised and impactful journey of development for every child. We call our curriculum the ‘Golden Thread’, as it weaves a path throughout our young learners’ MEplace experience from start to finish. The Golden Thread integrates EYFS early learning goals and age-related expectations with our MEplace values, underpinned by our core pillars of Mind, Body, People, Life, World and Fun. We offer daily enriching extracurriculars such as yoga, music, sports, STEM, cookery, Spanish and a Forest School programme. We also take the children on daily outings to parks and other places of interest in the local area, to enrich their learning experiences and offer opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration.
Environment
The MEplace environment is designed with everyone in mind. Our nurseries and MEclubs provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating space in which children are encouraged to grow, learn and explore. Our resources are selected to enhance wellbeing and stimulate imagination, while taking into consideration our impact on the world. We know that aesthetics are not the be-all-and-end-all, but a visually appealing environment makes for a more pleasant workplace experience!
Food
We see food as more than fuel. Our nurseries and MEclubs are fully plant-based, with healthy, child-friendly meals designed by a nutritionist and prepared fresh by our in-house chefs each day. We prioritise organic, locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. And it’s not just the children who benefit – our team enjoys nutritious snacks on site, every day!
MECulture
Team culture at MEplace is deeply rooted in our core values, creating a vibrant atmosphere of belonging. Positivity permeates our interactions, while self-growth is encouraged throughout the team, ensuring that everyone feels equipped and empowered. All children and staff are respected and valued for their unique backgrounds and perspectives, helping us to build a truly inclusive community where everyone can thrive and where difference is celebrated.
Your Benefits
We value the amazing impact our team has on the lives of the young children in our care. MEplace offers a range of benefits to all staff across the different sites, in recognition of their hard work and commitment.

Career Guide
Growth at MEplace is about more than just moving up a ladder; it's about personal and professional evolution. We recognise that when our team feels fulfilled and valued, this creates a positive environment which benefits everyone.
That's why we've created the MEplace Progression Map for our team, helping them explore a range of career opportunities and the criteria for progressing to each new step.
